The Project Background

The O’Connor family, based in Kilkenny, reached out to CC Renewables to help them address rising energy bills.

Work Completed

In early 2023 they decided to change their heating from solid fuel to a Heat pump. In May 2023 we installed a Diakin heat pump all the work was done within 2 days to keep disruption to a minimum. Later in 2023 they decided to install Solar PV. CCrenewables installed both. We installed 18 x 420kw panels, a Solis Hybrid Inverter along with a 5kwh Dyness Battery.

Project Outcome

Prior to getting a heat pump and solar they were spending €50pw on coal and €60per year on oil and €250 on Electricity every 2 months. Since getting both the heat pump and solar pv installed they no longer have to buy coal or oil and their electricity bills are currently in credit.
